February Running Night 2019

Hey hey, numbers for this month's running night were a little light on compared to previous meetings however that did not mean there was no variety in trains. For those who have not attended one of these nights, I highly recommend doing so because these nights are a lot less formal than the regular meetings so members can chat more freely without interruption. In the words of Graham Watson, come along, bring a train, have a chat!

Neil Blinco's RailWest Models S class with sound heads through Swan View with a goods trains for destinations east of Perth.

February Meeting 2019

Hey hey, I have to apologise for the lateness of this update. I have had a ridiculously busy last couple of weeks. On top of that, I had to duck out during the meeting so I am relying on notes from Stuart Mackay (Thank you). The bring and show did not disappoint with plenty of new models on show that various members have been working on including an interesting tank wagon and an RCW open wagon by Neil Blinco, progress on Alex Kruger's PM class,  a GST wagon by Alan Penstone and a nicely detailed portable grain elevator by John Bajkowski. The theme of the meeting was a round up of flat wagons of the WAGR/MRWA/Westrail. The final count came to an impressive 112 wagons. There was plenty of variety too with various loads ranging from Tractors and Containers to large over size transformers. Thank you goes to the members who contributed to the round up and their hard work in building these models, some of which were scratch-built.
